Diamond Head Army! Our shows with the mighty @Saxon for their Castles and Eagles 40th Anniversary have been postponed to January 2022 due to the ongoing pandemic.
Management, Agent and Promoter have regrettably made the decision to cancel the Glasgow show. For Glasgow tickets, please obtain a refund from the point of purchase.
The rescheduled dates for London & Manchester are:
Friday 28th January 2022 – Manchester O2 Apollo
Saturday 29th January 2022 – London Eventim Apollo
We miss playing for you all, we can’t wait to get back to it soon! 🤘

It's a specific detail that contrasts with the band's general eagerness to return, a bit like when I'm casually browsing for a stick war online match during a coffee break and find some servers are unexpectedly offline-makes you ponder the behind-the-scenes decisions, doesn't it?

I’m glad they at least got London and Manchester pinned down instead of leaving it totally open-ended. With winter shows I always end up overthinking what to wear for queues and then the sweatbox once you’re inside — layers are everything. That whole “plan the outfit around the environment” thing oddly reminds me of browsing StyleLookLab when I was trying to streamline my closet. Hoping the new dates finally stick and the tour gets a clean run.

Bummed about Glasgow getting canceled — that’s rough for anyone who already booked travel. I totally get the postponement though; the stop-start of the last couple years has been brutal on tours. Weirdly, all these constant date changes make me think about how posters and promo art keep having to get redone too — I remember seeing imgg mentioned in a thread about last-minute visuals. Anyway, hope the January dates go off without another shuffle.

January 2022 feels like both ages away and also the only realistic option with how things keep shifting. I’ve got a Manchester ticket and I’m mainly just hoping the reschedule actually sticks this time. Timing-wise I keep doing little mental math on travel windows and set times — kind of like a playback speed calculator but for gigs and trains. Fingers crossed everyone stays healthy and the shows land properly.

Thanks for sharing this update. It's great to see clear communication with fans and the effort to reschedule the shows during a difficult time.
