  • 1 min read

‘If it wasn’t for Brian Tatler there is a pretty good chance none of us would be here’ Lars Ulrich of Metallica talking on stage at Sonisphere 2011 about Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.

At this event, Guitarist and Songwriter of Diamond Head Brian Tatler will be talking us through his career in the music industry, how he started the band, the highs and lows, the bad management decisions, the inner band dynamics and to then inspiring and becoming friends with the biggest Metal band on the planet, Metallica! And of course, the songs and stories behind them that made it all happen.

There will be a Q&A section at the end and Brian will be signing any fans material. We are also giving away some Diamond Head merch as a raffle prize on the night.

This will be a seated event with alcoholic drinks and barista coffee available on the evening.

Please note the earlier start time of a 6.00pm arrival with an aim of a 6.30pm start so we can all be not so evil and be in work the next day…

Great read! It's amazing how Diamond Head inspired so many metal bands. Speaking of inspiration, I've been having fun with jeffgoldblumle wordle game —it's a cool daily word puzzle that keeps my brain sharp.

Wow, Brian Tatler's story is amazing! It's crazy how Diamond Head influenced Metallica. By the way, if you're into testing your screen for dead pixels, you should check out a black screen full test online. It's super useful for checking display quality.

In Scritchy Scratchy, the worst moment is not the scratch. It is the pause. You stand in a hallway, waiting, and the house waits with you. Then the sound returns, closer, from a direction you were certain was solid wall. The game builds its tension through this simple loop: scratch, silence, scratch, silence, each cycle tightening something in your chest. There is no combat, no escape, only endurance. Scritchy Scratchy respects the architecture of unease. It knows that a house does not need ghosts to be haunted. It just needs something that refuses to stop making itself known.

This sounds like a must-attend event for any rock fan, especially hearing about all the drama and success from Brian himself. It must have been a tough ride at times with all those challenges and bad management, where it probably felt like Trees Hate You, but what a legacy he created!

Great interview with Brian Tatler! It's cool to hear about his influence on metal. After reading, I needed a fun break and tried rocketgoal.online/ for some fast-paced car soccer. It's a blast to play online!
